This August long-weekend get ready to celebrate
in the event of the summer!
Woodbridge Italian Festival Organizers are excited to present
this year's entertainment and fun at the Ontario Soccer Centre
(7601 Martin Grove Road, south of Hwy.#7) in Woodbridge on Saturday
August 2 and Sunday August 3 for your enjoyment!
On Saturday kick things
off by taking in the Soccer Challenge "Coppa
Italia" where fan clubs of celebrated Serie A teams
will face off Vecchie Glorie’s Old Stars to grab the trophy of
this Annual Tournament. Sponsored by Montecarlo Inn - Vaughan

Soccer euphoria is taken to a new level with the “Mini
World Cup”, presented by Woodbridge Soccer Club.
Enjoy the fun watching 24 teams of 4, 5 and 6 years playing in
the NEW Festival tournament.
On the main stage enjoy great entertainment, featuring Radio and
Tv personalities, non stop music with Joe
Tamburini and Johnny Sax; dancing with Studio
22, and
Qigong, Tiachi performance by Moksha
Yoga-Vaughan.
Look for the exciting The Miss
Woodbridge Italia Pageant : a must-see event, featuring
music interlude with Max
Conte , Natalie Di Luccio .
Cheer the young stars "Vaughan
Fame Award" to select the new " idol"!!
Don't miss talented performances by the Farewell
44 and The Dia Band.
To end a perfect opening day, everybody will dance
the night away under the stars to the music of
the Tony Silvani Band.
Sunday’s set list is jam-packed
full of entertainment!
Music is a "piatto forte" at Festival and dish after
dish you'll taste the succulent performance of great entertainers.
Enjoy Great italian and neapolitan hits with Tonino and Teresa
and the Spotlight Band,
and .
Dance under the stars savouring the fascinating sounds of the
Pino Cea Band.
Traditional Italian folk music and ballads will echo in the air
with Lazio Musical bringing
you back to an Italian piazza for a traditional summer feast.
Enjoy the great performance staged by
Opera York , or sing along with Biagio
Bucaro , serenading the crowd with his unique
voice and style.
The Festival will feature many other talented entertainers, world-class
demonstrations by Joe Cariati's Tae Kwon Do Showcase, beautiful
Dancers and A MAGIC SHOW WITH Ryan
Anderson, The Coool Magician – Presented by Vaughan Mills
A rainbow of colors will sparkle on stage with an incredible
latin extravaganza featuring the fabulous dancers of " Latin
Energy” .
With tasty food,
games for the children, an indoor
market place with special offers, arts and crafts, and more ,
outdoor booths, featuring brilliant new cars and
the lovely Fiat 500, the event will please a diverse audience.
Soccer fanatics or not…come out and watch the Vaughan City Council
battle it out on the soccer field alongside members of the media
in the 20th annual VIP Soccer Challenge.
